Anyone who knows me or has spoken to me about travel over a pint knows I’m a big fan of group travel. I always want to go to far flung places, and as much as my friends would like to join, sometimes it just doesn’t happen. The last time I was in Greece was with my parents when I was only about 7 or 8. We were really lucky because my dad had business partners there that became friends over the years. We always got to eat local; let me tell you about one of the restaurants.

Heimweh - German Food in Dublin

Heimweh (homesickness) is nearly as bad as Fernweh (the need to travel). And when you live away from where you grew up (home is where the heart is) you do miss little things about it.

One night in Bangkok

08-May-2014 12:02:00

Many of my friends have travelled through Thailand and most will say that Bangkok is worth only a brief visit. I unfortunately during a business trip didn’t have more time than a couple of evenings and an afternoon to get an impression of this golden temple (all the while humming One Night In Bangkok).

Over the last two years I’ve been lucky enough to travel to both the Caribbean and Croatia. The former I’ve visited a few times now and Croatia only once (so far!). I have been extremely lucky this year, not just have I travelled and sailed quite a bit already but I’ve also started work with an amazing organisation: HubSpot.

As part of our training all new starts have to create our own sites to use the HubSpot Inbound Marketing tools (that’s how Wolf Trekking was born) and join two weeks of training in Boston. So here are some business travel tips for Boston, Massachusetts.

British Virgin Islands Sailing

I've started sailing in the summer of 2012. It was something I always wanted to do and needed quite some time to pluck up the courage to get out there doing it.

I've been racing in Dublin Bay. It's cold and although racing is very hands-on, it's not a course. I wanted to do something a year on that would help me be a better crew member and give me some sailing experience in warmer weather!

About Travel Wolf

My first passion in life has always been travel. From growing up between Germany and Ireland, traveling to the US and Greece as a child, on donkeys and boats as an adult and as a spirited business traveler too!

I've been lucky to have been to Tanzania, Egypt, Bali, Australia, Cuba, Belize and so many other beautiful countries to experience culture, people, sights and food.

I hope this blog will give you some ideas of where to go next and do share your travel stories with me! I'd love to hear where you have been, the next trip is always around the corner!
